Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday is full of admiration for music superstar Davido, following the release of his highly anticipated fifth studio album, 5ive.
Davido unveiled the 17-track album on April 18th, 2025, under his label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW). The album features collaborations with renowned artists such as Victoria Monet, Chris Brown, Becky G, Odumodublvck, Chike, Omah Lay, and more.
Taking to her Instagram page, Nkechi Blessing shared a video of herself dancing to one of the album’s tracks, expressing her amazement at the quality of the songs.
“Na only God know wetin @davido put inside this 5ive Album. Every single track is a hit. Finish work for me oooo.”
This isn’t the first time Nkechi has publicly shown her admiration for Davido. In 2021, the actress jubilantly celebrated on social media after the singer followed her on Instagram. Overjoyed by the gesture, she playfully added “30BG” to her name and even joked about framing the Instagram follow for her wall.
Her loyalty to Davido extended further last year when she attended the much-talked-about wedding of Davido and his wife, Chioma, which she referred to as the “Wedding of the Year.” She also supported the singer during the launch of his partnership with GAC Motors, affirming her unwavering allegiance to him.
In a lighthearted and symbolic gesture, Davido and his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, honored Nkechi by “changing” her surname to Adeleke during a family event. The actress attended the birthday celebration of Davido’s cousin, B-Red, where the Governor, alongside Davido, jokingly made the name change official.
Nkechi Blessing’s consistent support for the music icon has solidified her place in the hearts of the 30BG fanbase, and her glowing review of 5ive further amplifies the excitement surrounding the album’s release.
