Alesh Sanni took to Instagram to mourn his brother’s passing, reflecting on the fragility of life. He conveyed his disorientation and deep sorrow, stating that nothing makes sense to him anymore. Sanni emphasized the importance of living one’s best life since the next moment is uncertain:
Omo. Nothing dey make sense to me anymore ooo. Haaaa. This minute, someone is alive. Next minute, the person is gone. What? You have to live your best life cos next minute isn’t promised o. Gosh. RIP BROTHER. Abeg wetin Dey this life gangan. I wan travel the world, I wan save, I wan buy house, I wan do this and that … omooooooooo just live for today oooo …. Haaaaa haaaaaa I no just understand again.”

Actress Mercy Aigbe also experienced a recent loss, mourning the death of Lara Odubo, a prominent television presenter, actress, fashion designer, and singer. The news of Odubo’s passing, which occurred on July 28th, 2024, was shared by blogger Temilola Sobola. Although the cause of death was not immediately known, it was reported that Odubo had been ill prior to her passing. Mercy Aigbe, who was reportedly close to Odubo, expressed her sadness and denial over the tragic news.
