Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has added a brand-new Ford F-150 to his already impressive car collection.
The purchase follows his victory in a celebrity boxing match against Speed Darlington, a known rival of Burna Boy, who rewarded him with ₦20 million. Portable revealed that he added some money to the gift to buy the luxurious truck.
Taking to his Instagram page, Portable expressed gratitude to God for his blessings, encouraging his followers to seek divine intervention for their own breakthroughs. He shared,
If you no get, call God. Zazuu God loves me. Na God dey run am steadily.”
Portable’s passion for luxury vehicles has been evident for some time. Earlier this year, the singer expressed his desire for a Lamborghini, playfully asking his fans to purchase it for him. His car collection already includes a Mercedes Benz, a brand-new Benz from 2023, and a second Mercedes Benz flaunted amid police troubles.
In addition to his growing fleet, Portable has revealed that he owns 20 cars, including a Range Rover and G-Wagon, as well as 10 mansions. He is also in the process of building a hotel, further cementing his claim that, while he may reside in the trenches, his lifestyle is far from “fake” or ordinary.
Portable’s baby mama, Nollywood actress Ashabi, has shared her joy over his new purchase. In an Instagram post, she congratulated him on his new Ford F-150, praying for more blessings, grace, and “no more war” in their relationship. She wrote,
Alhamdulilahi Alhamdulilahi Alhamdulilahi. Congratulations to you, Bobo Mi. More keys, more grace, more blessings. No more war.”
Despite their tumultuous relationship, Ashabi has shown consistent support for Portable, even during challenging moments. Following his release from police detention in Kwara State, Ashabi shared a video of herself and Portable, expressing gratitude to God for his freedom.
Similarly, during Portable’s earlier arrest in Ogun State for multiple charges, Ashabi revealed her emotional distress, sharing a video of herself crying as she sought divine intervention for his release.
Despite the ups and downs in their relationship, Ashabi and Portable continue to reconcile and stand by each other. Their love story has been a subject of public interest, especially after they went public with their romance despite his marriage. Both Ashabi and Portable’s wife, Bewaji, celebrated him on his birthday, with Ashabi expressing her excitement to honour him in special ways.
