Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has once again shown unwavering support for her former in-law, May Edochie, amidst ongoing drama within the Edochie family.
Taking to Instagram, Rita penned a lengthy post hailing May’s strength, resilience, and remarkable achievements.
Addressing the attacks on May’s image, allegedly fueled by Linc Edochie’s new wife, Rita firmly stated that May remains unbothered by the distractions of what she termed “online pests.” She revealed that May is currently in China pursuing significant ventures that will shock her critics and silence her detractors.
Queen May Edochie is too committed to pay any damn attention to unnecessary distractions generated by online pests. My big daughter is into big things, her ears are so deaf to side statements from several retãrded personalities. This baby girl is currently in China doing bigger things that will shock the world,” Rita wrote.
She described May as a peaceful mother, recognized and loved by her family and admirers, soaring high and achieving great feats while her critics “roast in the furnace of their own shame.”
Rita also expressed immense pride in May’s accomplishments, both those known to the public and those yet to be revealed.
A very big congratulations to you, my great-darling daughter Queen May Yul Edochie, on your achievements, both announced and unannounced. The storm rose against you, but God calmed it and made the entire universe your shield,” she added.
Since May’s separation from Yul Edochie, Rita has openly embraced May as her daughter, vowing to protect and support her through any storm. She likened herself to a “Mother Hen” and dismissed criticisms about her public defense of May.
