Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has authorised a N100,000 Christmas bonus for all state civil servants.
Warisenibo Johnson, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, made the announcement in Port Harcourt.
Regarding Fubara’s Christmas bonus, Commissioner Johnson stated that the governor directed that the bonus be paid to all government servants with immediate effect in order for them to have a joyous holiday season.
“Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has approved N100,000 as Christmas bonus for the State’s civil servants.
“Governor Fubara gave the approval on Tuesday for immediate implementation to enable the civil servants to have a wonderful yuletide celebration,” he stated.
