Media personality Shade Ladipo has expressed her support for OAP Do2dtun amidst his custody drama with his ex-wife Omotayo, who is the sister to singer D’banj. On her Instagram story, Shade Ladipo threw shade at D’banj, stating that if anyone knows just 10% of D’banj’s true character, they would believe Do2dtun’s story.
Do2dtun had been vocal about being denied access to his daughters by his ex-wife and her family, including D’banj. He issued a 24-hour ultimatum to D’banj to release his kids, expressing disappointment over what he considered a betrayal after the support he gave D’banj during the loss of his son.
Shade Ladipo’s public support adds to the voices of other celebrities, including dancer Kaffy and ex-beauty queen Precious Chikwendu, who have rallied behind Do2dtun. Kaffy spoke about the emotional pain men also endure, while Precious Chikwendu empathized with him, stating that Do2dtun is a man missing out on his growing kids.
The custody drama has stirred discussions on the use of children as pawns in divorce or separation, with several personalities advocating for a more considerate and child-focused approach in such situations.
