Home » Ten Hag Confident Despite Manchester United’s Loss to Arsenal: ‘I Have No Doubt!’

Manchester United’s woes continue as they suffer a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal, marking their 14th loss in the Premier League this season. Despite the setback, manager Erik ten Hag remains resolute, asserting that he’s the right man to steer the Red Devils back on track.

The loss keeps United in eighth place, edging closer to their lowest-ever Premier League points total. However, Ten Hag remains optimistic about the team’s spirit and ability to execute game strategies, expressing confidence in their resilience.

“We were very competitive. And you see, even when we miss six, or seven [of our] potential starting XI, maybe even more, we can bring performance and we can bring a level. And on Monday night [at Crystal Palace], that was a very bad day at the office, I would say from all the players, very poor and isn’t acceptable. But today we have shown when we have that good spirit that we can bring a performance.. It was a bad moment our side and it shouldn’t happened, but that is top football. It’s a detail and in that detail we were wrong and we have to take that. But, of course, it’s very hard in this moment.”

With two matches remaining, including a crucial FA Cup final against Manchester City, the pressure is mounting on Ten Hag to deliver results. Their next challenge comes against Newcastle United, where they’ll aim to bounce back from the Arsenal defeat and salvage their season.

As speculation looms over Ten Hag’s future, the upcoming fixtures present a vital opportunity for redemption and a chance to prove his worth at the helm of Manchester United.
