Tinubu appoints Barikor, Ambgare heads of NESREA, NDRBDA

President Bola Tinubu approved the appointment of new heads of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency, NESREA, and the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority, NDRBDA.

Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said on Friday that Dr Innocent Bariate Barikor will be the Director General of NESREA and Prince Ebitimi Amgbare will be the Managing Director of NDRBDA.

Barikor, an academic and politician, served in the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired navy commander and former commissioner in Bayelsa State.

The President asked Barikor and Amgbare to carry out their roles with the utmost fidelity to the nation and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and outstanding service to Nigerians.
