Nigeria’s track queen, Tobi Amusan, finished second in the 100m hurdles event at the Lausanne Diamond League on Friday. Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico won the competition with a timing of 12.40 seconds. Amusan finished in 12.47 seconds, matching her season’s best time. Tia Jones finished in third place with a timing of 12.51 seconds.
Tobi Amusan, who placed third at the continental tour competition in Ostra on Tuesday behind Camacho-Quinn and Tia, made a small improvement.
On Sunday, the trio will square off one more in Stockholm.
Before defending her championship in the World Athletics Championship later this year in Budapest, Amusan will be looking to perform at her best.
