IA-Foundation, a UK charity organisation, plans to create skills Entrepreneurial centres in Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones to empower millions of out-of-school children.
The programme is the foundation’s newest endeavour to improve the lives of around 20. 2 million Nigerian children who are now out of school in Africa’s most populous country.
Mrs Ibironke Adeagbo, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the UK Charity organization, revealed the revelation in a phone conversation with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Sunday.
The creation of entrepreneurial hubs resulted from her visit with Michael Situ. Adeagbo stated they addressed global out-of-school children, particularly in Nigeria. She is confident the international community should intervene in the issue.
According to UNESCO data, the nations with the largest number of out-of-school children are India, Nigeria, and Pakistan.
Adeagbo visited Situ to encourage raising awareness of the out-of-school issue. The organisation plans to hold a conference in Lagos, Nigeria, in October. She reiterated her appeal for a new agency to address the situation. Adeagbo stated that President Bola Tinubu needs to make a difference.
