Very Dark Man recently posted a heartfelt video dedicated to Davido, urging the singer to forgive Dammykrane amidst their ongoing defamation saga.
In the video, Very Dark Man recounted his surprising encounter with Dammykrane at a police station, where the embattled artist appeared malnourished and dispirited. This prompted Very Dark Man to pledge financial support for Dammykrane’s well-being during his time in custody.
Very Dark Man shared that upon visiting the station, he was shocked to see Dammykrane in such a poor state, stating that the singer looked skinny and unwell. Moved by pity, he decided to return with money to ensure Dammykrane had enough to eat. He further implored Davido to reconsider his stance and withdraw the case against Dammykrane, emphasizing that despite his power, Davido is not an oppressor.
The defamation case stems from accusations made by Dammykrane, who alleged that Davido was involved in the death of his friend Tagbo and owed him money for a collaboration. Dammykrane also accused Davido of raping a girl in Canada, backing up his claims with blog clips. Despite the accusations, it took Davido a while to retaliate, eventually leading to Dammykrane’s arrest.
According to Very Dark Man, Dammykrane later admitted that he had no evidence against Davido and that his accusations were merely attempts to gain clout. Very Dark Man urged Dammykrane to apologize to Davido as soon as he is released from prison.
In a recent update, Very Dark Man showed off bundles of money he intended to give Dammykrane for his feeding. However, upon arriving at the holding cell, the police officers only allowed a portion of the money to reach Dammykrane. When they met, Dammykrane, overwhelmed with gratitude, referred to Very Dark Man as his “baby” and thanked him for the support.
Dammykrane’s situation took a turn for the better when Davido, known for his magnanimity, decided to drop all charges, leading to Dammykrane’s release from police custody after nearly a week of detention. In a video, Dammykrane publicly apologized for his accusations and expressed his desire to mend his relationship with Davido, whom he still considers a brother.
