Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta, has stated that his club still has a chance of winning the Premier League title. They can but they must win their final five games.
The Gunners’ lead over City has shrunk to two points as a result of Wednesday night’s 4-1 drubbing at the Etihad.
However, Pep Guardiola’s team still has two outstanding games to play. Although City is the favourite to win the title, Arteta isn’t giving up on his chances.
“I have no idea what will be necessary [to win the title].
The players need to be encouraged since they are in pain. It’s hard to swallow,” Arteta told the press.
He was asked if they needed to win all five games in order to stand a chance, and he responded,
“I think so.”
