Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has commented on the possibility of Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi rejoining the Blaugrana this summer.
Due to his contract’s expiration at the end of the current campaign, Lionel Messi’s future with PSG is uncertain.
Argentina’s World Cup champion seems to be leaning more and more toward leaving PSG this summer.
The 35-year-old’s name has been connected to clubs in Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Barcelona. Alba has already acknowledged that Messi’s return to Barcelona would be difficult.
“I don’t know,” Alba was quoted as saying by The Athletic. “It would be good for us (if Messi returns), but it is difficult.”
