The former wife of Ooni of Ife, Prophetess Naomi Ogunwusi, has confirmed that she will not reconcile with the monarch and return to the palace. The prophetess announced her break-up with the Ooni of Ife in December 2021, saying she would now be referred to as the Queen of the people and mother of her prince.
In a recent interview with the Punch, Ogunwusi ruled out going back to the palace. This is despite being the mother of the crowned prince, Tadenikawo. She said the monarch now has six strong women in the palace and believes she is too soft to cope there.
Prophetess Naomi said her experience in the palace was bittersweet. She further claimed that she would share the story when God gives her permission to share. On her current relationship status, Naomi says she is single and a ‘’bride waiting to be dressed”.
The prophetess also shared some insights into her private life. Prophetess Naomi stated that she gave the devil a punch right back in the face. She said there were certain things that happen in life that are extremely private. Further adding that people only know what she chooses to share.
Furthermore, she refused to speak about her experiences in the palace. Only stating that it was a bittersweet experience, with both sweet and bitter moments. She said the lessons learned were personal and had helped shape her. On the birth of her son, Prophetess Naomi said it was the greatest miracle she had experienced in three decades of her life. She said her son was a precious gift, and that she felt proud and honoured by God.
