Nigerian singer, Olorunyomi Oloruntimilehin, popularly known as Bad Boy Timz, has clarified that his recent revelation about being shot in the eye when he was nine is not for clout.
It was reported that Timz in a recent chat with British-Nigerian media personality, Shopsydoo, disclosed that “assassins” ambushed a car conveying his family in the Mushin area of Lagos, and a bullet hit his eye after his father dodged it.
His claims were trailed by disbelief among social media fans.
But reacting via his Twitter handle on Thursday, Bad Boy Timz insisted that he still has the scar of the gunshot.
He wrote,
“Scars are signs of survival, miracle was written on the skin!! I show my scars so others know they can heal…”
In another tweet, he said,
“I wonder why Nigerians will think I said that for clout! I’m not like your faves.”
