Nigerian singer Emeka Akumefuna, popularly known as Blaqbonez, recently opened up about his unique perspective on marriage, explaining why he has decided that he and his wife should never share the same room. The artist shared his thoughts during a guest appearance on the latest episode of the Nancy Isime show.
Blaqbonez revealed that his decision stems from his polygamous nature and his personal taste in room design. He expressed that he prefers to have his own space separate from his wife because of these reasons.
Explaining further, he stated,
First and foremost, in marriage, I do not want to be in the same room as my wife. I have my own room, just like you. For example, what if I’m a Batman guy who wants everything dark and Batmanish and you’re a Barbie princess?”
The artist emphasized that his individuality extends to his room preferences, which are distinct and tailored to his masculine tastes. He prefers to have a certain look and feel to his living space, including his bathroom, where he likes to keep his personal items.
Blaqbonez clarified that his decision also aligns with his polygamous tendencies. By having separate rooms, he believes he can maintain his independence and pursue his own interests without intruding on his wife’s space.
