This role will be responsible for managing grant-related activities, providing administrative support, and overseeing financial operations to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the organization.

Finance Officer Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process financial transactions such as invoices, payments, and reimbursements.
- Conduct regular financial reconciliations and assist in budget planning and monitoring.
- Generate financial reports and provide analysis for management review.
- Collaborate with external auditors and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Grants Management:
- Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with grant guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain accurate grant records and track progress towards grant objectives.
- Collaborate with program managers to develop grant budgets and financial reports.
Administration:
- Provide general administrative support to the project.
- Manage office operations, including maintaining office supplies and equipment.
- Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, and events.
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
Finance Officer Requirements:
- This position is open preferably to a female candidate
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in grant management, administration, and financial roles.
- Strong understanding of grant funding and tax processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with donor-funded projects is desirable.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Remuneration: NGN 350,000 – 450,000
