Chief Electrician is responsible for performing duties in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, parts ordering, and administration of the PMS system. Should have hands-on working experience in drilling Equipment with in-depth knowledge of testing and repairing.
Responsibilities
- Must have good knowledge of PofLC, VFD, network Communications types and troubleshooting, computer software, computer hardware, and Drilling electrical equipment.
- Use an electrical schematic and wiring diagram.
- Interpret information from different sources
- Familiar with cable size international standards.
- Perform basic power calculations.
- Familiar with ABS standards.
- Must have good knowledge of drilling Equips and rig operations.
- Possesses good technical, supervisory, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 -15 years in the onshore or offshore drilling operation.
- BOSIET/HUET/SAS
- Seaman’s Book
- Covid Vaccination Certificate
