UTME candidate, Mmesoma Ejike, confessed to falsifying her results, causing a shock in the education community. A report from an Anambra state investigative committee details these stunning revelations.

While not the top scorer according to JAMB, Mmesoma from Anglican Girls Secondary School, claimed a notable UTME score of 362 in 2023, earning her recognition and a N3 million scholarship from Innoson founder, Innocent Chukwuma.

Contrarily, JAMB disclosed Mmesoma’s actual UTME score was 249, not 362, indicating she had falsified her results. This led to a thorough investigation by a newly-formed panel.

However, the Anambra panel’s report confirms Mmesoma faked her results, highlighting noticeable inconsistencies in her registration number, birth date, and exam center name, among other discrepancies.

However, Mmesoma confessing to doctoring the false results via her phone, as unveiled in the panel’s report, adds complexity and incites astonishment and questions about the motivations behind such deceit.

The implications of Mmesoma’s actions extend beyond her personal reputation, as they undermine the UTME’s integrity and the examination process’s credibility.

The conclusion of the investigation awaits determining Mmesoma Ejike’s consequences for her fraud. Her UTME results fake out has shocked the education community, prompting a review of protocols and commitment to maintaining academic evaluation integrity.
