The leadership of Nasrul Lahil Fatih Society (NASFAT) recognized and acknowledged Aminat Yusuf on Sunday as the top graduating student and record-breaking Muslimah in the faculty of Law at Lagos State University for 2023. With a flawless CPGA score of 5.0 and the overall best performance at the last LASU convocation, Yusuf won several awards, including an N10 million cash prize from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The latest body to support Aminat’s amazing achievement is NASFAT.
The celebration took place at the Asalatu site, Alausa Ikeja.
Alh. Niyi Yussuf, president of NASFAT, stated during a brief ceremony attended by members of the Society that Yusuf has transformed perceptions about Muslims in general, including those that most end up in lowly employment due to their lack of intellectual aptitude.
According to Yussuf, NASFAT is about excellence, and as Yussuf exemplifies excellence, the Society felt that it was appropriate to reward her for her outstanding academic record.
The presentation of an N500,000 cheque by the NASFAT President to Aminat, who her mother accompanied, was the ceremony’s high point.
NASFAT leadership also provided Aminat with professional counselling, mentoring, and financial contribution.
After that, Yussuf, her parents, and the whole country were prayed for by Imam Abdulazeez Onike, the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, serving in his first formal capacity following his 2023 Hajj rites.
Yussuf said that the outstanding kindness and compassion of NASFAT had greatly inspired her.
She, therefore, praised NASFAT’s leadership and prayed for the Society’s expansion and advancement.
She thanked Allah for rewarding her efforts with success since she believed that her greatness resulted from Allah’s compassion and favour.
