Job Description
We are currently searching for a Knowledge Management Expert for our client who will play a vital role in fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow within our organization. As a Knowledge Management Expert, you will be responsible for promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments and project teams, ensuring that the right knowledge reaches the right people and is promptly applied to business activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among departments and project teams.
- Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing through defining, supporting, and encouraging the use of knowledge to employees of all skill levels and roles.
- Ensure that all employees are sure of the knowledge management processes, including the purpose of doing so.
- Making sure that the right knowledge goes to the right people, and that this information is promptly applied to business activities.
- Capture new knowledge with the usage of a knowledge management system.
- Provide relevant coaching, training, and support to champion a knowledge management culture.
- Monitoring and measuring knowledge management activities.
- Capturing new knowledge effectively.
- Controlling the accessibility and flow of knowledge within the organization and to external parties.
- Assess existing knowledge management practices, identify gaps, and create a knowledge management roadmap to discover store, process, and present knowledge to support the organization’s decision-making process.
- Establish a new knowledge management framework for the organization where none exists, and create a roadmap for implementing and internalizing knowledge management in every aspect of the organization’s practices.
- Monitoring, measuring, reporting, and improving knowledge management practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- First degree in Knowledge Management, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree
- Comprehensive training and certification in knowledge management (evidence is required)
- 8 years experience working in fast-paced fast-paced environments.
- 3 years’ experience managing and capturing knowledge and fostering knowledge culture across an organization.
- ITIL4 Foundation mandatory
- Related ITIL V3 Practitioner Certification is desired.
- Leadership, effective communication, problem-solving, coaching and teamwork skills are essential.
- Experience working with a range of service providers.
- Excellent understanding of service delivery and service support environments
