Actor Michael Ejoor has turned to social media to urgently request assistance in the search for a house help who has allegedly assaulted and stolen from a 75-year-old woman, identified as his ‘sister’s mother.’ Taking to his Instagram page, Michael posted a photograph of the suspected perpetrator along with a plea for information.
In the heartfelt post, Michael disclosed that the accused individual goes by the name “JOY WILLIAMS” and was employed as a house help for his sister’s elderly mother. The distressing incident unfolded on Sunday, August 6th, when the accused reportedly subjected the elderly woman to a horrifying ordeal.
According to Michael’s account, she not only physically tortured the vulnerable 75-year-old but also tied her up and inflicted injuries to her palms. The distressing situation escalated as she confined the elderly woman within a room, leaving her in a state of helplessness.
The severity of the situation intensified as it was revealed that the accused had also perpetrated financial crimes. She reportedly transferred funds from the elderly woman’s bank account and went on to disable her WhatsApp account, remove her SIM cards, and even steal her iPad. To facilitate her escape, the perpetrator sent an exit code to the elderly woman’s phone, allowing her to leave the estate before absconding from the scene.
Michael Ejoor, in his impassioned plea, urged anyone with pertinent information about the whereabouts of “JOY WILLIAMS” to come forward and assist in bringing her to justice. He emphasized the significance of collective efforts in curbing such threats to society and ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals.
