Job Description
Provide legal advice on the provisions of statutes; dispute resolution; follow up on litigation matters, contract negotiation, drafting and reviewing
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on the provisions of statutes; dispute resolution; follow up on litigation matters, contract negotiation, drafting and reviewing
- Manage/enforce legal and regulatory compliance. and Maintain and update the compliance regulatory database, knowledge of PIA 2023 must
- Drafting and finalization of MOUs, Agreement, Contracts, GSAAs, pipeline tie-ins, and, connection agreements
- Provide advisory support for departments on taxes and levies imposed by various government agencies
- Legal research and monitor legal and regulatory changes for timely updates and legal analysis.
- Support and represent the company before the National Assembly Committees and other various agencies of government at all levels
- Interface and support all matters involving the criminal investigation of the company and its officers with various law enforcement agencies
- Attend and monitor all law enforcement matters.
- Attend and monitor all pending / ongoing litigations involving the company
- Support in Secretarial matters of the Indorama Entities in Nigeria
Qualifications
- Qualification: LLB, preferably with BL and LLM
- Experience level: 12 – 16 years
- IT Skills Required: Well-versed with MS Office including presentations
