Job Description
We seek to hire a Microsoft Sentinel SME who will be responsible for the implementation, management, and deployment of Microsoft Sentinel, deployment of Microsoft Sentinel, a cloud-native security information and event management (SIEM) and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) solution. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to develop and execute effective security strategies, leveraging Microsoft Sentinel’s capabilities to detect, investigate, and respond to security threats.
Responsibilities
- Design efficient and cost-effective architectures to support multiple managed service clients, ensuring compliance and meeting security requirements.
- Deploy and configure Microsoft Sentinel, integrating with various data sources and setting up security playbooks and rules.
- Integrate Microsoft Sentinel with existing security tools and systems to ensure comprehensive visibility of security events.
- Develop and customize automated security playbooks and workflows to streamline incident response processes.
- Stay updated on security trends, fine-tune configurations, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Monitor and analyze the cost and consumption of resources related to Microsoft Sentinel. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Implement strategies to maximize cost efficacy and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing security solutions, focusing on SIEM/SOAR technologies.
- Possess solid knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Sentinel, and Azure cloud services.
- Be familiar with security concepts, threat intelligence, and incident response methodologies.
- Experience with scripting and automation languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Understand network protocols, log management, and security event correlation.
- Comfortable working with remote teams.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Associate and Azure Security Engineer Associate certifications, are a plus.
