Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, is set to represent Cameroon again after deciding to come out of international retirement.
Onana confirmed this in a statement on Monday.
The 27-year-old will now return to the Indomitable Lions’ squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
During the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Onana left the national team camp after falling out with head coach Rigobert Song over tactics. Shortly afterward, he announced his retirement from international football.
Despite an olive branch being extended in recent weeks, Onana was still thought to be in two minds about returning to international duty.
However, he has now decided to answer the call and is in line to start against Burundi next week.
