Nigerian comedian, Woli Arole, has stirred a conversation on social media by shedding light on what he refers to as a “cabal” within the gospel music industry in Nigeria. According to him, this group wields considerable influence over gospel artists’ careers and makes decisions that can affect their fate.
Arole took to Instagram to make these claims amid discussions about the mistreatment of artists by record label bosses in the music industry. He asserted that the gospel music “cabal” even operates a WhatsApp group where they collectively decide on actions to take against artists they may disapprove of.

His claims have sparked curiosity and discussions within the gospel music community, drawing attention to the dynamics and behind-the-scenes influence that may shape artists’ careers in the industry.
