Job Description
As the International Student Recruiter at Tar Global Placement Consulting, you will drive student recruitment, business development, and marketing efforts for our higher education programs across all regions. Reporting to the manager, your primary objective will be to build strong relationships with agencies, institutions, and partners, ensuring the successful enrollment of international students. You will represent one of our foreign classroom and contribute to our mission of providing accessible and industry-relevant education to students worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Implement and execute international student recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment targets for all regions.
- Develop and maintain an extensive network of education agents and critical stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to promote our brand and attract high-calibre students.
- Provide training and support to education agents to enable them to effectively promote different institutions and its programs.
- Participate in marketing events, fairs, exhibitions, webinars, and conferences to expand outreach and attract potential students.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor programs, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the managed recruitment team and other relevant departments to optimize the student application to enrollment conversion rate.
- Deliver workshops and presentations and engage in public speaking opportunities to showcase the institution’s offerings.
- Exercise creativity in problem-solving and adaptability to manage multiple priorities and changes in a dynamic environment.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage data, track recruitment progress, and generate statistical reports.
Qualification
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in international student recruitment within the Higher Education sector.
- Established agency network and strong relationships with critical personnel in the education industry.
- In-depth understanding of industry trends and strategic planning for student recruitment.
- Experience in training education agents and conducting client research.
- Track record of achieving recruitment and revenue targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence in public speaking, and workshop delivery.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with any database management systems.
- Direct representation of an educational institution or significant agency experience managing a sub-network of agents.
