Nigerian rapper and singer, Blaqbonez, has opened up about his reservations regarding women who are active on Twitter, expressing his reluctance to engage with them due to concerns about privacy and potential public disclosure.
In an interview with Zero Conditions, Blaqbonez shared his perspective on maintaining a level of discretion in his personal life, particularly in the context of social media. The artist mentioned that he deliberately filters the women around him to avoid potential scandals and the risk of personal details being shared publicly.
I don’t really like to talk to people and females that have too many tweets. I don’t speak to them because I feel like you are two seconds away from going to tell the world about my business. You are literally two seconds away from blasting me, not even on the grounds of, ‘You’re trying to ruin me.’ You just tweet everything that goes on in your life,” he stated.
Blaqbonez further emphasized his preference for a more private approach to social media, stating that while he uses Twitter, he does not feel the need to express every opinion online. He highlighted his commitment to maintaining peace of mind and safeguarding the integrity of his brand.
Me I have lots of tweets but if you go and check, I don’t even make a lot of tweets, I retweet things. I’m not always talking. I 100% filter the babes coming my way, I’m upstanding about my peace. I really care about my brand and peace. I don’t want to be with anyone who will soil it,” added the rapper.
The interview sheds light on Blaqbonez’s perspective on social media dynamics and the cautious approach he adopts in his personal relationships.
