Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is carried out according to architectural plans, drawings, and specifications
Responsibilities
Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is carried out according to architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
Quality Control: Ensure that all architectural elements of the project meet quality standards and adhere to design specifications. Monitor workmanship and materials for compliance.
Coordination: Collaborate with the superintendent, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate construction activities and resolve issues as they arise.
Scheduling: Create and manage construction schedules for architectural work, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret and translate architectural drawings and plans for the construction team, including structural, electrical, plumbing, and finishing details.
Material Procurement: Assist in the procurement of architectural materials and finishes, ensuring they meet project requirements and specifications.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and best practices on the construction site to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Team Leadership: Supervise and provide guidance to construction workers, carpenters, masons, and other trade professionals involved in the architectural aspects of the project.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve construction issues, design discrepancies, or unexpected challenges related to architectural elements.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of construction progress, changes, and deviations from architectural plans. Prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
Client Interaction: Interface with clients or project owners to provide updates on architectural progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of architecture and/or construction site works
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong communication skills, ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, with the ability to effectively coordinate and supervise a small team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- FEBR installation certification & experience is an advantage.
- AVB installation certification & experience is an advantage.
