Daniel Regha, known for his outspoken and straightforward opinions, recently delivered a critical assessment of singer Blaqbonez’s latest album, “Emeka Must Shine.” Despite the album’s popularity and chart success, Regha didn’t hold back, giving it a harsh rating of 3.5 out of 10.

In his evaluation, Regha acknowledged Blaqbonez’s venture into sonic experimentation, appreciating the effort. However, his most severe criticism was directed at the album’s lyrical content, which he found lacking in substance. He expressed disappointment, suggesting the album lacked novelty, feeling like a rehash of Blaqbonez’s previous works.

Regha highlighted what he perceived as an issue with beats, suggesting possible sampling from popular musicians that led to a feeling of déjà vu throughout the album. Additionally, he criticized repeated choruses in some songs, contributing to the album’s shortcomings.

In an attempt to soften the critique’s impact, Daniel Regha concluded with a “no offense” statement.

Shifting attention to a previous controversy, Regha had earlier expressed his views on artist Davido’s perceived attitude toward his family’s influence in Osun State. According to Regha, Davido’s family’s political connections have led him to act as if they “own” the state. Regha alleged that despite attempts to address Osun State issues with Davido, the artist appeared unresponsive, dismissive, and at times, mocking.

Additionally, a few weeks ago, Regha faced criticism after creating boxers from leftover materials, prompting ridicule from his followers and netizens, who labelled him as being in poor financial standing.
