Job Description
Reconciliations of the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers·
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements reports.
- Reconciliations of the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers·
- Keep records of company’s fixed Assets and fixed assets register.
- Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligation
- Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs and procedures.
- Assisting with budgets preparation and review
- Managing company ledgers and accounting records.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting Junior staff
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions.
- Monitoring business expenses with the approved budget
- Monitoring petty cash and reconciling records
- Analyzing financial performance.
Qualification
- Minimum of 4+years’ experience in a financial role in the financial sector.
- Professional Membership: The candidate must have the ICAN or ACCA recognized professional qualification
- Good knowledge of I.F.R.S and current tax laws are mandatory.
- Good Knowledge of MS Excel & relevant accounting software.
- Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in numerate or semi-numerate disciplines such as Accounting Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Banking, Finance, Insurance, and Business Studies.
