In a shocking incident, armed individuals attempted to kidnap the newborn daughter of Brazilian football star Neymar, in Sao Paulo, during an invasion of his girlfriend Bruna Bianciardi’s parents’ residence. The assailants, two of whom were armed, targeted the Bianciardi family in Cotia, Sao Paulo.
Thankfully, neither Bianciardi nor their daughter Mavie were present at the time of the break-in, and Neymar, who currently plays for Al-Hilal and is recovering from knee surgery, was also not in the house. However, Bianciardi’s parents were on the premises and were subjected to a distressing ordeal as they were tied up by the suspects. Fortunately, they were not injured during the incident.
Footage released by Brazil’s Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) captured the arrival of three suspects at the residence, with one of them residing in the same condominium as the Bianciardis, enabling them to stage the invasion. As of now, one suspect is in custody, while the other two managed to escape after stealing various belongings, including luxury handbags, watches, and jewelry.
The second perpetrator has been identified but remains at large, and the third suspect is still unaccounted for. Neymar has not yet commented on the incident. The situation has raised concerns about the safety and security of high-profile athletes and their families.
