Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, is expressing her lamentations over her current relationship status with ex-fiance, Ryan Taylor.
Last November, it was reported that the billionaire heiress had gotten engaged to British boxer Ryan Taylor. Unfortunately, their relationship hit the rocks, and the couple have since unfollowed each other on social media.
This month would have marked their anniversary, and DJ Cuppy seems to still be brooding over their failed engagement. Taking to her Instagram page, the famous DJ noted how they are now like strangers, emphasizing that despite the love and romance, they have reverted to being strangers.
“And after all this, we’ve gone back to being strangers,” she shared on Instagram.
After seven months of being engaged, DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor broke up in July for undisclosed reasons. The disc jockey had been spotted on several occasions without her engagement ring, and the couple had unfollowed each other on social media.
Ryan Taylor hinted at the cause of the breakup, suggesting that if something is blocking one’s spirituality, one should let it go. DJ Cuppy also gave a hint at their break-up, praising her mother, Nana Otedola, for always knowing the best.
During an interview with Brunch with Amel, Cuppy revealed that she got engaged after two days of meeting Ryan Taylor. According to her, it was only after their engagement that she started making inquiries about him because things between them progressed so quickly.
