Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Specialist located in Lagos. The Tax Specialist will be responsible for tax planning, tax preparation, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax law and finance. The Tax Specialist will also collaborate closely with other team members to support the bank’s financial goals.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of tax planning, preparation, law, and finance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve tax-related issues
- Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or Business Administration with a tax concentration
- 4+ years of experience in tax planning and preparation in corporate or public accounting environments
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CITN or ICAN is an added advantage
