In an impressive display of consistent prowess, Super Eagles striker Victor Okoh Boniface has secured his fourth consecutive nomination for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award, as reported by Soccernet.ng. The 22-year-old joined Bayer Leverkusen last summer from Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium for a substantial €22 million deal.

Since his arrival, Boniface has been a scoring sensation, netting eight goals and providing five assists in just thirteen appearances. Notably, the Nigerian striker has claimed the Rookie of the Month honor in every month since joining the Bundesliga, and now, he stands nominated for the same accolade for November.

Challenging him for the award are Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig and Merlin Röhl from S.C. Freiburg. Röhl’s notable contributions include two goals and an assist, securing an undefeated streak for his team and placing them comfortably in the 8th position. Meanwhile, Simons, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, has showcased consistent performances, scoring four goals and assisting seven times in thirteen games.

As Bayer Leverkusen maintains an unbeaten record across all competitions, they lead the European top five leagues in goal-scoring this season. The team, under the management of Xabi Alonso, is now eyeing a Bundesliga title in May as they continue their formidable performance.
