The Nigerian Senate’s leadership announced on Sunday that the victims of the unintentional bombing in Tudun Biri village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State will receive a contribution of N109 million, which is equivalent to the members’ December salaries.
The announcement was made by Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau during a visit of condolence from the Senate leadership to Senator Uba Sani, the governor of Kaduna State, about the event at the government house.
The Nigerian Army took credit for dropping the bomb on Tudun Biri, which resulted in the deaths of at least a hundred people on Sunday, according to the Kaduna State Government.
