Nigerian singer Peruzzi recently shared insights into why he’s hesitant to collaborate with Kizz Daniel, at least for the time being. In a recent interview, Peruzzi disclosed that he had initially reached out to Kizz Daniel for a joint project.
The collaboration was supposed to be for a song written by Buju Gwagalada. However, to Peruzzi’s surprise, he discovered through an open source that the collaboration had moved forward without his knowledge, with Kizz Daniel teaming up with Buju for the single.
Feeling left in the dark and hurt by the lack of communication, Peruzzi expressed uncertainty about working with Kizz Daniel in the near future. He emphasized that if a collaboration does happen, it should feel natural and right.
In a freestyle back in October, Peruzzi proudly claimed credit for writing Davido’s hits “Unavailable” and “Risky.” Despite his strong bond with Davido, Peruzzi asserted that he penned these globally successful songs.
Notably, in July 2023, Peruzzi faced accusations from Anita Brown, alleging an affair with Davido’s wife, Chioma Adeleke. In response, Peruzzi vehemently denied the claims, calling them lies and referring to Brown as a dullard.
Following the death of Mohbad in September, calls for artists to speak out against toxic record labels arose. Peruzzi, associated with Davido’s label, dismissed any serious issues, humorously noting that the only problem was Davido consistently borrowing his iPhone charger. This lighthearted comment suggests a solid relationship between Peruzzi and Davido within the record label.
