Nollywood actor and film director, Tobi Makinde, has praised Funke Akindele for her record-breaking achievement at the box office.
Funke Akindele’s movie, “A Tribe Called Judah,” recently became the first Nollywood film to gross over a billion naira. Tobi Makinde, one of the directors in the movie, hailed Funke Akindele as an Amazon, stating that she has carved her name on a rock, and her achievement is a testament to determination and putting God first.
In a separate appreciation, JJC Skillz, Funke Akindele’s estranged husband, expressed pride in her victory. He commended her for smashing the box office record again, indicating support and admiration for her success.
Former presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, also congratulated Funke Akindele on her historic milestone.
