Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has raised concerns about the validity of his late son’s will.
He expressed disbelief that his well-educated son, aged 26, could have created a thumbprinted will instead of signing it. Aloba challenged the authenticity of the will, suggesting it might be doctored and fake. He questioned why a lawyer was present at Mohbad’s house when news of his death broke but not a doctor.
The revelation has sparked a division among netizens, with some supporting Aloba’s skepticism, while others believe Mohbad had valid reasons for creating a will at a young age. A week earlier, Joseph Aloba accused his son’s widow, Wunmi, and lawyer, Femi Falana, of threatening his life. He claimed to be living in fear and sought help, alleging that Wunmi and Falana were threatening to eliminate him.
