Job Description

We are urgently looking for a Business Development Manager who will drive business growth, develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth of our Training School, make sales projections, and forecast revenue in line with projected income.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new programs and services.
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients.
  • Pitching sales and training courses to new and existing clients.
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
  • Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s programs and offerings, the competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Managing and training the business development team for peak performance.
  • Collaborating with digital marketing and sales teams to ensure that the requirements are met to enhance sales compelling message to prospects and customers.

To succeed in this job, the potential Business Development Manager should have extensive business development experience and a strong sales record. Experience within our business sector will be advantageous.

Qualification

  • Minimum of 10 years professional business development experience in the Oil & Gas, marine, or construction industry.
  • Minimum of 8 years professional experience in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in relevant fields
