Job Description
The energy sector is booming, and we are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our team of sales agents. If you’re excited about renewable energy, sustainability, and helping businesses and homeowners make informed energy choices, then this is the role for you!
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers in your assigned territory.
- Educate customers about our energy products and services, solar power, and energy efficiency solutions.
- Identify customer needs and recommend the best solutions to meet those needs.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Track and report on sales activity and performance.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in the energy sector.
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Calculating client quotations, negotiating tender and contract terms
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
- Offering after-sales support services
- Recording and maintaining client contact data
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts in solving client problems
- Helping in the design of custom-made products
- Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
Qualification
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A candidate with a strong understanding of the energy sector and its products and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- A results-oriented attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Passion for learning and staying up to date on the latest sales trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentable with the ability to clearly articulate the values and benefits of the company.
- Relevant Sales Training & Certifications are a plus.
Location: Abuja, East / Niger Delta, or Lagos, Nigeria.
