Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager of Operations located in Ibadan. The General Manager of Operations will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, recruiting and training new staff, establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and clients, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, develop and implement policies and procedures, and analyze and improve processes.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in budgeting, financial management, and business development.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of travel and tourism industry trends and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with operations management software is a plus.
