In a recent Instagram live session with her fans, Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, Phyna, shared insights into her ideal partner, expressing her desire to marry someone with traits similar to rapper and singer Shallipopi.
The reality TV star emphasized her preference for a lively companion with whom she can share silly moments, highlighting a goofy personality that might not immediately give away their marital status.
While initially considering a quiet man, Phyna changed her mind, stating that she now seeks someone who matches her lively disposition. She also revealed a shift in her dating preferences, opting for either an Edo or a Yoruba man, as she encountered challenges with the level of family involvement in her past relationship with an Igbo man.
Phyna remarked,
I want to marry someone that is my spec, someone that we are alike. Someone who has a Shallipopi vibe. I don’t want a quiet man. Before I wanted a quiet man but I changed my mind. I would have liked an Igbo man, but the last Igbo man I was with…I think I would rather go for an Edo man or Yoruba man, I like Yoruba, I have always wanted to get married to a Yoruba man.”
The reality star recently disclosed losing 17 brand deals due to controversies and scandals surrounding false accusations. Phyna recounted how social media trolling negatively impacted her career, with a brand rejecting her based on unfounded claims. Phyna had also sparked dating rumours earlier this year with a mysterious man, keeping his identity under wraps. Netizens speculated a connection to singer Kaid due to the resemblance in their dreadlocks. The reality star, known for her past relationship with co-housemate Groovy, clarified that they never dated and were merely playing games during their time on Big Brother Naija.
In a recent headline-making incident, Phyna recalled rejecting a male fan’s offer of N5 million for sex at a nightclub, asserting her boundaries and demanding the man to leave her presence. This incident further added to the array of attention and controversies surrounding the dynamic reality TV personality.
