Job Description

Implement HR strategies, policies & procedures by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, learning & development, records management, succession planning, employee & industrial relations, and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Implement HR strategies, policies & procedures by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, learning & development, records management, succession planning, employee & industrial relations, and retention.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Ensure that all policies and practices are updated (in accordance) and remain in compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure the organization receives the best value for goods and services.
  • Review and lead the implementation of the Performance Management System by carrying out periodic performance appraisal and employee development programs; give recommendations as required.
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to ensure the organization operates within its means.
  • Assesses sales and marketing operations and makes recommendations for developments where necessary.
  • Develops and ensures the implementation of procurement strategies in conjunction with heads of departments to achieve required outcomes and deliver value for money.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the HR and Operations teams to ensure the organization achieves its goals.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or any related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPM, CIPD, etc) is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of all federal and state regulations concerning benefits, hiring and other HR processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
