Job Description
Implement HR strategies, policies & procedures by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, learning & development, records management, succession planning, employee & industrial relations, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Implement HR strategies, policies & procedures by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, learning & development, records management, succession planning, employee & industrial relations, and retention.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Ensure that all policies and practices are updated (in accordance) and remain in compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure the organization receives the best value for goods and services.
- Review and lead the implementation of the Performance Management System by carrying out periodic performance appraisal and employee development programs; give recommendations as required.
- Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to ensure the organization operates within its means.
- Assesses sales and marketing operations and makes recommendations for developments where necessary.
- Develops and ensures the implementation of procurement strategies in conjunction with heads of departments to achieve required outcomes and deliver value for money.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the HR and Operations teams to ensure the organization achieves its goals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPM, CIPD, etc) is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of all federal and state regulations concerning benefits, hiring and other HR processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
