Job Description
Our client in the renewable energy industry is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales manager that can deliver on relevant KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building a robust sales pipeline and clientele, meeting sales targets, managing a high-performing team, and implementing effective sales strategies. The sales manager will play a key role in achieving revenue targets, building client relationships, and ensuring the overall success of our sales unit.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy, Planning, and Reporting:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, product positioning, and market penetration, to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Meet or exceed the assigned sales quota.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets.
- Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant metrics for management.
Sales Leadership:
- Provide leadership, mentorship, training and guidance to the sales team
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement improvement plans as needed.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and current clients and other stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and resolution of customer inquiries.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align strategies and maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or a related field.
- Sales and business development skills
- 3–4 years of proven experience in sales management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of power system products is an advantage
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong networking and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
