Nigerian Fuji Maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam1 or K1, has responded to allegations made by his drummer, Kunle Ayanlowo.
In a recent interview, Kunle Ayanlowo spoke out about his time working with Kwam1, recounting instances where he felt mistreated. He claimed that Kwam1 treated him and other band members like slaves, allegedly confiscating their passports during travels and even ordering him to return home when he was seeking medical treatment. Kunle expressed ongoing health concerns and urged Nigerians to hold Kwam1 accountable.
In response, Kwam1 took to his Instagram page to address the allegations, calling Kunle out for lying and attempting to tarnish his reputation. Kwam1 emphasized that he had supported Kunle when he was struggling and advised his followers to distance themselves from dishonest individuals.
This isn’t the first time Kwam1 has faced public scrutiny. Earlier this year, rumours circulated about a marital crisis between him and his wife, Emmanuella Rope, after he didn’t publicly celebrate her birthday. However, both Kwam1 and his wife dismissed the rumours, attributing their low-key approach to maintaining privacy.
