Job Description
The role of the technical staff involves a great deal of knowledge and skill. They are responsible for maintaining arcade games, amusement machines, etc. They keep the game’s internal compartment clean and well-maintained and resolve any issue that may arise during gameplay.
Responsibilities
- Operating and troubleshooting games, pinball machines, or other coin-operated machines
- Performing regular maintenance on machines to ensure they continue to function optimally
- Installing new games or machines in various store outlets
- Repairing and replacing damaged equipments such as monitors, joysticks, circuit boards, etc.
- Maintaining inventory of game parts and accessories such as tokens, gamepads, balls etc.
- Creating detailed records for all maintenance activities carried out on machines
- Debugging glitches and issues on gaming softwares and hardware
Qualification
- Minimum academic qualification of OND in Electronics or related field
- Advanced knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring
- Ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Attention to details
