Job Description
We are searching for a passionate Gameplay Engineer to join a small, fully remote team to work on an exciting multiplayer title. Working on Gameplay at BTS you would interact closely with Designers, Artists, and other engineers to implement gameplay systems across the project as well as support rollout of updates for Big Time.
Responsibilities

- Contribute to implementation and design of major gameplay systems and support the design team to deliver content to players. Areas of work include (but are not limited to) AI, Combat, Controls, Locomotion, etc.
- Collaborate and iterate closely with the design team on gameplay systems
- Plan and implement systems to be extensible, scalable, and easy to use in production
- Profile and optimize performance across the game to hit ship targets on multiple platforms

Qualification

- 2+ years of game development experience
- Shipped at least one high-quality game for PC or Console
- Strong programming background and C++ knowledge
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Unreal Engine 4 experience
- Hands-on experience with gameplay systems like AI, Animation, Combat and Missions
- Must love games
