Guardiola Warns Man City: “Title Not Won Yet” Ahead of West Ham Clash

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has warned his players that they face a tough challenge against West Ham United as they aim to secure the Premier League title. City needs a win on Sunday to retain their championship, with Arsenal close behind and set to play Everton on the same day.

In a press conference on Friday, Guardiola emphasized the difficulty of the upcoming match. “David Moyes will do everything to beat us,” he said. “I’m ready for it to be a tough game. I want the players to remember how Tottenham fought for every ball. West Ham will show the same aggression and commitment.”

Guardiola‘s focus on preparation reflects his awareness of past surprises. He recalled a similar situation two seasons ago when Aston Villa posed an unexpected challenge. “It’s going to be the same with West Ham,” he added.

A victory on Sunday would give Guardiola his sixth Premier League title and make Manchester City the first English team to win four consecutive top-flight league titles. Guardiola has a strong record against Moyes, having lost only once in 15 meetings. Additionally, City is unbeaten in their last 16 games against West Ham.

As the final matchday approaches, the pressure is on Manchester City to deliver a decisive performance and secure their place in football history.
