About the role
As an Asset Management Officer, you oversee all our assets. Your role involves ensuring that assets are utilized efficiently, maintained properly, and disposed of appropriately when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the performance of solar installations through software tools and on-site inspections.
- Analyze data to identify performance issues and implement corrective actions to optimize energy production.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess the condition of solar assets and ensure they are operating at peak efficiency.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize system downtime and prolong equipment life.
- Oversee corrective maintenance activities, collaborating with O&M and external vendors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs.
- Maintenance and upkeep: Developing and implementing maintenance schedules to ensure that physical assets remain in good working condition and retain their value over time.
- Risk management: Assessing risks associated with various assets, such as depreciation, damage, or theft, and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Ensuring all asset-related activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly in financial reporting and environmental sustainability.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide detailed reports to internal stakeholders and clients, outlining key performance metrics and recommendations for improvement.
Qualification
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 1- 2 years experience in asset management
- Experience with asset management software systems is required or preferred.
- Strong data Analysis and reporting
- Strong organization and attention to detail
